An electric oil pump is a device that uses an electric motor to drive the transfer of liquids such as fuel or lubricating oil from one location to another, while providing a certain level of pressure and flow rate. Working Principle

Positive Displacement Pumps: These pumps draw in and discharge oil by changing the volume of the pump chamber. Examples include roller pumps, gear pumps, and vane pumps. They operate at relatively high pressures but have intermittent oil delivery, resulting in greater oil pressure fluctuations, vibration, and noise.
Hydrodynamic Pumps: These pumps drive the flow of fuel using a pump impeller, generating oil pressure by leveraging changes in fuel momentum. Examples include axial flow pumps, centrifugal pumps, turbine pumps, and side-channel pumps. They have minimal pressure fluctuations and operate at relatively low pressures, making them suitable for scenarios requiring large oil flow rates and low oil pressure.
